Our commercial computer repair and IT services

We provide computer repair and IT services to many people in San Bernardino. The large majority of residential customers are on a pay by the repair basis. Residential customers receive onsite computer repairs which mean that your computer is fixed the same day that you call us. There is a very small travel fee based on your distance from the center of San Bernardino (see travel fees below) . Keep in mind that our services are not limited to just computer repairs. If you softwrae installed, emails setup, network setup or anything else computer related we can help you

How we charge for computer repairs and services

When you call us and tell us what computer problem you are having or what service you need the tech on the phone can give you a general estimate based o what you tell them. However, that estimate is not a final price. Often customers tell us what they think is wrong and we find that it’s is something other than what they thought. For this reason we have to get one our techs out to you to diagnose the problem before giving you a final price. There is a $40 dollar diagnostic fee if you decide not to get the repair or service once the diagnostic is done and the price is quoated. However, if you decide to get the computer repaired or service done then the diagnostic fee is waived and you only pay the cost of the repair ( this does not apply in cases where the diagnoses requires an extented amount of time). All payments are due at the time of services. Our tech can except cash or credit/debit/check card onsite ( we do not except checks and we dont invoice to residential customers)

Remote Repairs

We offer remote computer repairs and services. This does requires you to have internet access.This service extends beyond San Bernardino because it’s do over the internet. This a great option for our customers because it saves you money. There is no travel fee associated with this service and also becase it saves out tech the time it takes to travel to you we pass those savings on to our customers. Payment for remote computer repairs must be made in advance on our website. There are many computer repairs that can be done remotey. Virus removal, driver issues, software installs, update, registry repairs, data recovery, file systen errors, browser problems and much more can be done remotely. The process is completely secure. There is no risk to your computer or network. Remote computer repairs have actully become one of the more common ways to repair computers.

Computer parts

If your computer repair requires us to replace a part that we have to purchase you must pay for the part and shipping up front via our website. Our tech will have most common computer parts with them. However, speciality parts will need to be ordered. If we have to order a special part then our tech will have to come back out to your location a second time once the part arrives.

Virus Removal

Virus removal is the most requested service for internet users today. There are many virus and spyware removal tools available, however they are generally not effective in removing the complex malware contracted by computers.

Most viruses cause undesired effects often rendering your computer unusable. Unfortunately there is no such thing as 100% protection from all viruses. If your computer catches a virus, JOC GALLERY specializes in complete and permanant virus and spyware removal.

Many viruses use fake virus scans that display a large number of infected files on your computer. These results are fake. They will tell you that you have to purchase their virus software to remove the viruses. DON’T PURCHASE THIS SOFTWARE. Once you enter your credit card information they will send even more viruses to your computer. If a virus protection program pops up on your computer that you know you didn’t install or didn’t have installed just turn off your computer and have it professionally removed. The longer you allow this virus to remain on your computer, the worse it will get. Some viruses will even change your passwords which will require some form of password recovery.

Drivers are what give functionality to your computer. If you have a problem with your sound, internet connection, monitor display, modem or any hardware that you have connected to your computer (e.i printer or webcam) there is a good chance that you have an issue with a drive(Critical Software Installation)

Hardware Installs

Drivers are instructions to your computer to tell it how to use the hardware. A missing or wrong driver is the most common issue when it comes to hardware installations.
